we see that Matthew Machell b abt 1537 who m Mary Lewknor in 1568 and had a daughter Mary Machell
I *thought* the name was "Jane," which is why I pointed out the
following link a few days ago:

I'm sure I remember seeing something in GBR's _RD600_ about a will
mentioning "cousin Jane Cudworth" which was the final clue which
proved this link.
