My thoughts on this word "tumbrel"...there was a word in use at the time of Anglo-Saxon origin spelled the same more or less which denoted a stool ; a type of chair/seat. But that of course is unrelated to this fragment.
I would have to see the script to check the actual spelling.....quite a puzzle!
