Re: Need help reading Manifest

X-No-archive: yes
Always double check the Detained Aliens list and the Special Inquiry pages at the end of the manifest. There may be more info on your passenger.

The street looks like Deberosch. However- at the far left of the passenger list there is an "X" overwriting the passenger number. This means he is on the Detained Aliens List. (Ancestry page 22 of the Manifest) There you will find him being picked up by his sister Regina of 92 Dubais Brooklyn at 5:56 PM.

Neither street name exactly matches any in Brooklyn today. See http://brooklyn.com/streetsindex.html

I need help reading a street name on a manifest from Ellis Island. The person's

he went to his cousin rosa Markowics 92 ___ Brooklyn, NY. I am unable to read the
street name that follows 92. If you are able to read it please reply.
