How do I get a 1904 article in The Forward

On October 1, 2004, the current English-language edition of The Forward,
published an article under the headline "100 Years Ago," which is on
The Forward's Internet site. The article was about the fight over
the million-dollar estate of then recently-deceased real estate magnate
Jacob Cohen of Baxter Street. This is my family. It is with reason
that they were known as "the battling Cohens."
The article notes that the struggle was engendered in part by the
convolutions of the family tree (Jacob's first wife was said to
have been his cousin and, at her death, he married her niece).
You can understand why I would like to see the details of the
family genealogy -- accurate or not -- as presented in the
original article.
I assume that the original article was published on or
about October 1, 1904, a year after Jacob Cohen's death.
My question is: how can I get a copy of this article?
Are past issues of The Forward on microfilm?
If yes, who might have them?
Might they be available through inter-library loan?
[Although I can read the Hebrew alphabet, I do not know Yiddish,
so even if microfilm exists and I could order it from my library,
finding the article would be difficult and time-consuming but,
I hope, possible.]
Or is there an easier way to get old copies of The Forward?
I wrote to the newspaper's archivist, but never received an answer.
With thanks,
Helene Kenvin
