This past March 17, 2009, I wrote an article for the JewishGen Blog regarding Irish research which was entitled "Green Bagels and Matzoh Ball - It's That Time Of The Year Again". As a result of this, an Australian reader, Naomi Barnett, passed on the info to a friend of hers, Mervyn Silverstein, who had been born in Belfast and now lived in Australia.
Utilizing the links I had provided in my article, Mervyn found family he did not know still existed in Belfast and other places including Australia where he lives now. He has even met some of his new found family and plans to meet more in the future.
You may read further details of this success story by going to the JewishGen Blog for today, Monday, July 6, 2009 at: http://www.jewishgen.blogspot.com
