Marriage License Help: New Jersey

My paternal grandparents were probably married in New Jersey, but I am not sure of the city. I am 99% sure that it was somewhere in Hudson County, since that is where other family members lived. Without that one bit of information, NJ will not provide a copy of a marriage license. I have their names and the year of marriage. Is there some other way I can obtain the license, either in person, by mail or online?
