Hallo
We are journalists from the biggest Polish daily newspaper, Gazeta
Wyborcza. Last year we wrote the article about old photos of Jews
from Nowy Sacz and Tarnow, found by someone in Sacz. It are portraits,
pictures from school, summer trips, family meetings etc. Some of these
pictures have inscriptions on the back page (in Polish an Hebrew).
We have found your website about Nowy Sacz, so we decided to write
and ask for help. Perhaps you know someone who is from this town and
would be interested in helping identify the people in these photos?
Now probably we knew that the photos owner was Uscher WAGSHAL son of
Menachem Wagschal. We found their testimony in Yad Vashem. Their
relatives are ( Sara VEIS - testimony from 57 year - or Sharlota
ASHKENAZI - testimony fron 91 year). Its very, verey important for us
to give this photos for the best hands - Wagschal famillly or their
relatives hands.
