Hi All,

It has been a few years since I posted on this group in trying to locate my grandfather's sister's descendants. My grandfather, Samuel TRUGMAN, left two sisters and a brother in Volochisk when he emigrated in 1910. We had contact with them until the early 1960's. I have been trying for the past few years to find their children who would be in their 80's now.... or possibly their children.

Last year I contacted the Red Cross in the hopes of their finding a record because they were evacuated in 1942 ahead of the Nazi's. They had since sent me documentation that his brother and wife were evacuated to Kamishlov City (see below). We know that his mother and sisters were evacuated at the same time, but they were not on any lists. His mother died, soon after the evacuation so now I think she may be buried there but have not found out if those cemeteries still exist.

I just came a cross my grandfather's address book which had some Russian addresses for them and I have had them translated. I am hoping that by posting here, I might find someone who has either lived in Vinnitsa, Volochisk or Proscurov (Khmilnitsky) who might have known them. My problem in finding them is that the sister (surname unknown) had a son, and the brother had a daughter (Surname also unknown).

If you could look at this list, or if you know someone from these cities and can ask them about these people, I would greatly appreciate it.

1. Blema TRUGMAN or Eda (Ida) TRUGMAN
Originally from Volochisk, Ukraine, The 1950's address I have for them is Malinovskogo 13, Vinnitsa

Blema lived in apartment 2 and Eda, her sister-in-law in apartment 17

2. Rosa (b. 1888) and Max TRUGMAN (b.1884)
They originally lived on Kuybisheva Street #9 in Volochisk, Ukraine until evacutated in 1942.they were evacuated to Komsomol'skaya Street #3 in Kamishlov City
Eda was Rosa's daughter and Rosa was probably living with her in Vinitsia. I have a postcard from Blema, frm the early 60's stating that they were all alive.

3. Rivka (Rebeka) TRUGMAN - address unknown, surname unknown, alive 1960's. Had as son, Izzya born 1930. I have his picture. Izzya married, had children, and was an engineer. Have no idea where they lived.

These were other individuals mentioned, but I am not sure of their connection and would like to find them just the same.

3. Srul'Lizak - Lenina 5, Station Volochisk
4. Sura Koen (Cohen) - Kotovskaya 91, Proscurov (now Khmelnitsky)
5. Nesya Shlyak c/o Teper - Starobul'Varnaya #13, Proscurov Province
6. Solomon Rozenfeld - Vladimirskaya 46, apt 15, Kiev
7. Emma Samuelovna Livshitz - Karmelyuki 29 apt 4, Chernovtsy oblast

My thanks for spending a few minutes reading this and passing it on if you have anyone you know who might be helpful.

Regards,
Helen Nash May
