After Richard ROSENBERG b. 1878 in Koln died in 1936 in Den Haag there is no record of his wife. Auguste ROTHSCHILD-ROSENBERG b. 1886 Dorstfeld/Koln and her 4 children Werner b. 1911, Rudolf b. 1913, Heinz b.1914 and Eva b. 1921, all in Koln.
Ship records show that in 1946 the widow Auguste and Eva sailed from Sweden to NY on the Gripsholm and in 1947 Werner and Rudi sailed on the Westerdam to NY.
Where were they during the turbulent years of wartime?
Where did they settle on arrival in the US? They were sponsored by Dr. Otto B. MAY, a relative who lived in NJ.
Any advice would be appreciated.
