Hello,
I hope to learn why the family name of NACHIMIVITCH/NUCHEMOVITCH may have been changed to SHUMAN. I am interested in any possible connection between the two names, perhaps a occupation or regional connection. The family came from the Volhynia gubernia, Ukraine, Russia, the town of Sedilkov, near Shepetovka.
Thank you,
Bob Roudman
