Tracing David HACKMAN, Lubartow to NY to Argentina?

I'm trying to trace my great-grandmother's brother, David HACKMAN (his
brothers spelled it HOCHMAN). He was born in Lubartow, Poland, to
Levi Yitzchak HOCHMAN, in 1873. The JRI-Poland database shows a birth
record for Dawid GOKMAN in Lubartow in that year. I'm pretty certain
his mother's name was Rifka WEINBERG.
I found an immigration record for him coming to NY in 1904 as David
HACKMANN. He's listed in the 1910 census as David HOCHMAN, living in
NY with his brother Pincus and Pincus's family.
On his WWI draft card and the 1920 census, his year of immigration is
listed as 1913, but I can't find any immigration records for that year
for any variation of the name that I've tried. In 1921, he applied
for a US passport to go back to Poland and bring back his wife and
family. The passport application says he immigrated on June 18, 1913,
and that he became a naturalized citizen in 1921. His wife is listed
as Gitel HACKMAN in Warsaw on a receipt in the passport application.
There's also a long letter in Yiddish that I can't understand. (I
uploaded it to viewmate, but it hasn't been approved yet.)
After that, I can't find any records of him. I expected to find
records of David and Gitel coming back to NY, but I didn't. I've been
told that he had a son named Joseph who moved to Argentina. I don't
know if he had any other children.
Does anybody know anything about this family, or have ideas about
where else I should look to figure out what happened to them after
1921?
