I would be grateful to get any information on the bio of Prof. Mikhail Abramovitz BARG 1915-1991. Prof Barg was the chief research associate of the Institute of World History in the USSR Academy of Sciences. He began his studies as a specialist in English History (first thesis in 1947 was on the Doomsday Book) gradually movig to philosophical reflections and becaming a World famous theorist of historical science. He was also a member of the Royal Historical Association in the UK.
