Dear Genners,

I'm looking for traces of Bea KRONICK, who lived in Pittsburgh, PA (USA) in the mid-20th century. Her maiden name was probably MACHTEY (some spelling), and she had a daughter named Sonia.

Bea had a brother Israel MACHTEY (a lawyer who worked in New York City and lived in Mount Kisco, NY); a sister Anne (of Brooklyn, who had a son and a daughter), and a sister Beulah (possibly a pianist). There may also have been other siblings. Their father was living at that time in an old age home in Yonkers, NY.

This is a long shot, but if any of it rings a bell, I'd be grateful to hear from you!
