It is with great sadness that the members of the Kupiskis SIG note the
passing of their longtime member Monica Leonards following her valient
battle with cancer.

Monica was an active member whose forte was tracking Kupishokers who came to
America and the people they came to. Her databases, for not only Kupiskis,
but the surrounding shtetls as well were of immense importance to our
membership. Her untiring help to our members in using these databases and
locating their relatives was part of her generous and helpful nature.

She will be missed. Our prayers and condolences go out to her family and
friends.
