My grandmother, Chaike( Ida) GERMAN (or HERMAN), was born in NV in about
1877. My grandfather, Meyer Isaac OXENHORN or (OXENGORN), was born in
Ostrog, Ukraine in about 1869. He had a first wife whose last name we
don't know and a son by that marriage. The first wife died and my
grandparents were married by 1897 possibly in Kamenny Brod. Oral history
is grandmother refused to raise the child, and we do not know what became of him.

When my grandfather immigrated to the U.S. in 1904 from Kamenny Brod, the
ship manifest claimed he was going to his brother-in-law named Isaac
COOPERSMITH (manifest spelling) who lived on 73 Jefferson Street in New York
City. We don't how they were related, except that perhaps this was the maiden
name of the deceased wife.

If anyone has this information that could pertain to this contact me
directly.
