Manhattan Address from the 1940's

I have received information that a family member lived at xxx W. 92nd St.
Manhattan in the 1940's. His name was Aaron HOROWICZ and as he was born around
1904 I am sure he is no longer alive. It is possible that he changed his name but
I am wondering if anyone can suggest areas of research that might help me find
further information about residents at this address.
