Celtic writing

Hi
I want to caption my pictures from Ireland in my photo gallery. Not all shots require an inscription but some of them do.
Here is one that I can not remember. An Irishman told me about the ancient writing which was engraved in stones. At first I couldn't imagine it but later on I saw it and I pictured one of the stones.

there was little description by the stones but I didn't write it down.
Can you tell me what sort of writing it is? Or help me with a link. I browsed for over one hour and I couldn't find anything about it.
