(who, I supect, would prefer to be invited over for a taste-test... ;-)
....of course, it's all totally off-topic here, and one should want to
try discouraging more of the same, friendly but firm, is my thinking.
Point to the FAQ or group charter, give advice how/where to find a forum
that would welcome the request, offer to help out by email, etc.
It's easy enough to read out of the FAQ or scanning the archives that
posting such requests here isn't welcome, isn't invited, and we really
should react to it in a way that enforces that point -- or change the
circulated guidelines for the newsgroup.
