There is a village called
D-36358 Herbstein.
It is part of Hessen, but I don't know if that area has been
Hessen-Darmstadt. (Now there is Bundesland/state Hessen only,
Hessen-Darmstadt no longer exists.)
In 2001 there were
6 Beyer in towns with postcode 3635x and
6 Bayer in 36355 Grebenhain
in the German phone directory.
