And you can try to find in libraries or Historic Societies 'History
of XYZ' or something similar. These books seem to contain family
histories that go far back in time.
I have got such a family history from a person in USA. The data in
this history go back to about 1830; even a birth date of 1792 is
given! If you are in doubt about the things contained, you can try
to find the author of the text asking the publisher.
These family histories contain many members of the families and many
facts from their life.
