Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your suggestion - that is what I have been doing but still the
index does not print out. I have two family members who do not have
computers - too old - but they love to read what I have found.
A while ago I was able to print out an index but now I can't.
Is there a PAF support group that I could ask?
Cheers.

I cannot get the index to print out when I select the book format.
Is there a radio button I am not selecting or does it not print out the
index any more?
Thank you and regards,
FILE/print reports/BOOKS/
select Descendancy -- immediately beneath that word and in
another box there is a space to select by tic INCLUDE INDEX.
At the VERY least, ticking that box puts the index into the
preview.
Since I never print directly to paper, I won't speak to
that; and since by creating an editable file, I invariably
find /something/ to edit, I end up recreating the index in
my word-processor anyway, so I won't even swear it comes up
there either.
Cheryl
