I created certain folders on Outlook Express in order to save someMaud,
important messages.
I am not sure whether I inadvertently deleted the folder, but I don't
recall doing this. Is there some way that I can retrieve my information?
You should actually be looking for files, not folders. Each "folder" is to
be found in a *.dbx file. If you haven't already done so - do a file/folder
search for *.dbx over all your hard disks.
If that does not turn up the files that you are looking for, then you may
still not have lost everything. It could be worth your while downloading a
trial copy of Search and Recover from
http://www.iolo.com/sr/4/download.aspx. I seem to remember that the trial
version will do a full search, tell you if it has found traces of the
relevant *.dbx file(s), and indicate the chances of full recovery. However,
to actually recover the file(s) may cost you the price of a full version
(US$39.95).
