NEHGS databases

I've been thinking about joining, but it's *really* expensive for the
"research" membership. I had thought about joining a few years ago when
it was a bit cheaper but since I'm on the other side of the continent
from the library, didn't see any sense and thought if I got to go to
Mass. some day, I'd join.

Well, I see they have a lot of databases online now. I have family lines
tied to Mass, Maine, Maryland, Connecticut, New York and possibly New
Hampshire. Just wondering if any of you are research members and have
found it worth the $$ ???
