| With PAF you can export a gedcom selecting the "All Ancestral Related"
| filter selected. and then using the "Combine filters using" option add
| descendants, individual, etc as desired.
|
| I prefer Legacy for this type of export. With it I use the tag feature.
| Lets say I wanted to export to gedcom all my fathers family but not my
| mothers. After clearing all tags (or selecting an new tag number) I
select
| my father and then tag either the direct line Ancestors or Entire Ancestor
| Line. I then tag all of his descendants if desired. At that point you
can
| untag any individuals as you desire. One way is to go through the name
list
| and select and edit, deleting the tag, of any individuals you do not want
to
| have, or add tags to those you may want to include, in the gedcom. Then
| export the gedcom using only the tagged individuals.
