Their "advanced" viewer may be a plug-in, an ActiveX control, or any
number of other things, for all I know. I only know that the download
links will tell Mac users that we have an "unsupported" platform. I've
been an Ancestry.com subscriber for a few years now, and I continue to
dislike the third-rate treatment when it comes to software and some
features. But the "basic viewer" they're using now beats the old MrSID
approach hands-down and works pretty well for me. So maybe my system
really is too advanced to need any so-called "advanced" viewer!! :-)
And I second that Roll Tide -- I can barely contain my enthusiasm as
another football season approaches.
