an annual renewal option. No ability to renew for 2, 3 or 5 years,
maybe with a discount, for example, or any other flexibility offered.

I would hardly call the ability to pay, based on a sliding scale, the
balance of the fees for the year of joining together with the next
year introducing flexible membership."
