Thank you Jenny, so far I have not found the marriage of Charles and

HARNEY and Jemima FRANKLIN and in that she says her father was a Miner

Would the Marriage note if her father was deceased? There is no mention
in this case.

I've just looked at the marriage entry and, IMO, it says father Chas
Franklin dead, not miner...there's definitely a 'd' at the end of the
word.

For those with an Ancestry sub,
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/iexec?htx=View&r=5538&dbid=1623&iid=31280_195017-00507&fn=Jemima&ln=Franklin&st=d&ssrc=&pid=5926959

There is this possibility in the LMA London burials database (which would
negate the theory that he married first Ann, then Mary)
Charles Franklin abt 1792 12 Jan 1817 Islington St Mary Islington
The address is Queen Street, not Cumberland Row however

I agree it says 'dead'.

Given Jemima's address of 'Marson Street' at date of marriage, mother Mary
Franklin can be found in Marson Street, St Pancras (Somers Town) in the 1841
census. She is living alone, age 50, occ Laundress. Ref: Class: HO107;

Lori,

Thank you for your confirmation about Charles being Dead, also for the info
on Mary in the 11841 Census, I could not find her in that Census. That
address in Somers Town, the HARNEY family lived there for a number of years
and I think they may have owned the property.
Jemima married Edward HARNEY and his father Edward died at that address.
I will have to go back and have another look for Mary in the 1841 Census now
that you have supplied the info.
Lori, would you be able to send me a copy of the marriage between Charles
and Mary, the copy I have is blurry and my subscription to Ancestry does not
give me access to those records.

Again my thanks,

Colin.
