means exactly, but I guess possibly "Curate"?

I presume it should read d 1910, p 1912 St. D.; C of Steynton w Johnston
i.e.
Ordained deacon 1910; ordained priest 1912 in St David's diocese; curate of
Steynton with Johnston ... etc.
