It was good to see something a bit different. A lack of material,
though, padded out with "Un-Be-Leee-Vable!" and "Oh... My... God!". I
wonder if they just couldn't find any other ancestors of popular
interest. A fairly light hour-long programme really needs more than
two areas of focus.

No. I suspect they slotted this one into the schedules because of the
World Cup. Radio Times trumpeted it as an alternative to the football
- perhaps because she's in a TV series that's perceived as being of
"girly" interest. Looking at who's due to appear in this series
eventually, I think I've vaguely heard of all but one - not that that
matters either way if the stories are interesting
