Dating photograpghs: Rosie or Margot

Can anybody help date two photographs and by doing so confirm the ID
of each sitter?

The first picture is either Alice (b. 1871) or her mother, Marguerite
(b.1844). I think it is a photograph of Alice, in which case the date
is circa 1914. If it’s Margot, it cannot be later that 1906. The
photograph was taken in Preston, Lancashire by Leslie Shawcross
(sic?)

The second picture is of a woman named Marguerite but does it look as
though the photograph was taken in 1906…at the very latest?
