Looking for experiences with Google genealogy applications


I'm looking for a low-tech way of putting flags and notes on a google
map of England. I see some packages that take data feeds from
genealogy software, which I have not yet considered using. I don't
have a large family to document, but maybe a recommendation for a
genealogy package that hooks into Google would set me on the right
direction.
