Hi

Could anyone help me to find a birth certificate for the following man.

Name: James Llewellyn Elkington [later added Meredith to his
christian name]

Supposed
birth date: 24 June 1875 in either Brighton, Sussex or Pembrey, Wales

Marriage: June 1895 at Hereford

Bride: Rachel Kavanagh from Grantham, Lincs.

Death. Kenya 22 February 1925.

I have written to the registrars covering Pembrey and Brighton because he
had connections in both places.
They had no record there even searching on each side of the date. The
birth date is from family papers and his mother is to be found in both
places.
He doesn't seem to be registered in any place.

Could anyone suggest where to look next.

Perhaps try this one registered in London. I can't see this one in the
1881...
