Re: Where can I find information about 3rd (Prince of Wales's) Dragoon Guards?

My local Famly History Centers are not answering their phones so I
have not yet been able to look at the film suggested.

But now going over this thread again I am getting confused as to which
regiment I should look up.
The trancribed text reads '3 Regt Dragoons'
Now I have read that the 3rd Regiment (Prince of Wales's) Dragoon
Guards were in service at that time, but the replies above states that
this should actually correspond to 3rd Regiment Dragoons. I believe
there was also a 'Kings Own' at that time also.
How can I confirm which one? I guess I will just ave to order as many
films as necessary and trawl through them.

Sorry for this, just getting frustrated and confused.
