No, it's not just you. I've heard on the grapevine the "backdoor" has
been closed but the comma or full stop should work. They announced
that in their blog which would appear to give it official sanction.
I think some people may be under the misapprehension that the people working for findmypast achieve the ideal of speaking with one voice.
