I wish they'd display place of birth on the search results. Either an

I agree - there was only one Clara Taplin for the year of my grandmother's
birth and it wasn't her. Don't know where she was or her mother.

Interesting for my gr-grandmother on mum's side - she is listed as Mother
under Relationship column (husband not present - she is first person).
Then she is shown as 'married' but she states she had 16 children born
alive and
only 6 still alive. Holy-moly I only know of 7 of them including one that
died. Have a family photo with the 7 children on it dating from about
1904. Lots more research going to be done on that branch now!!

Wow! I've retrieved nearly forty reports so far and have been rather
surprised at how many of the "deaths" columns were zero. The most I've seen
is three dead in two families with around four living.

The most useful search method I've found so far is to concentrate on the
year of marriage rather than year of birth - fewer people lie about the
length of marriage than their age!

I've suggested to 1911census that they include place of birth in the results
table and also use a lookup table in the search so that if you
specify "Leics", say, it will accept "Leicester" and "Leicestershire" etc.
