I have not used any of the forums much myself, it seems to be good, but
wondered what others experience of the quality of advice etc had been.
Its a bit robust around here <g>

RootsChat is an excellent place for beginners (and the more
experienced) to ask all the sorts of questions which usually elicit a
discourteous response here. The quality of advice is as good as
anywhere, better than many forums, with members such as Guy Etchells
appearing quite regularly, and stanmapstone. 'Stupid' questions are
treated with politeness, and good guidance is given.

I second that. I have had a great deal of help on many issues on Rootschat. I have also been able to assist other researchers.
The members are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
