I am giving a friend a hand in getting started on this addictive journey.
We got lots done on Scotlandspeople and got her beginning nicely back into the 1800's, next stage as pennies allow. <g>
We have a potentially interesting character who we are following back to Newfoundland in WW2
-- any ideas about tracing Newfie genealogy would be most welcome as well as the Canadian Air Force, he had family back there.
I had a look on my Ancestry account as well and found one NY passenger record but its one of the Global account records, not my "nearly all but not quite all".
Could I ask a favour so I can pass it on, and ask for one lookup please?
If anyone has the world deluxe subscription and would like to help inspire someone else get started, we would be grateful.
cheers
With respect, your first step would consist of not referring to Newfoundlanders as "Newfies".
