Meat in its own isn't a complete diet. Some more seldom occurring
amino-acids plants do make are necessary for our well being (not to talk
about some vitamins ... see bery-bery (vitamin A) and results on Vitamin C
deprivation (scheurbuik in dutch, the english term I don't know) (the
latter occurred often on long (ship) journeys in the past)
