People of the British Isles project

Does anyone know anything about this project?

I will be asking myself but knowing there are folks here with some expertise
in this matter I wondered if you had any opinions as to the quality or
otherwise of this research.

Someone came up to Oban to test people recently I have been told, but only 8
people turned up - probably because no-one seemed to know about it.
There was no announcement to any of the possible groups who might have
generated the interest they were looking for. Someone, locally, has been
asked to round up some troops and asked me what I thought of it..
I said I would find out if I could, she has more to do than someone else's
homework if its not really a worthwhile project.
