Can anybody help me to find Agnes Whitcombe in the 1891 census of England or Scotland? She was born around 1833 in Aberdeenshire (other census entries are ambiguous as to the exact date and place and I have not yet found a birth/christening record). From about 1860 onwards she was a long time live-in domestic servant to the Stewart/Hanley family and in 1881 and 1901 she is living with James Hanley and his family in Everton. However she is not with them in 1891 and I have not found her with any likely (to me!) alternative spellings. She died in 1916 so, in theory at least, she should be somewhere in 1891.Ancestry has an Agnes Whitcombe, 64y, dairy keeper, b.Tarves abt 1827
in Old Meldrum. Unfortunately she was there in 1881 (but 4y older !).
Where was the employer's family in 1891 ?
David
