Thomas SUMNER b 1790's Wigan - seeking parents?

I am researching my 3 great grandfather who was born in Wigan according to
the 3 censuses I have found him in 1841.'51 '61 before his death in 1862.
The rest of the family certainly remained thereabouts.
Unfortunately I cannot travel to Wigan and have no access to any FHC so am
reliant on what is available online so far.
I have got a fair bit of information about him and his descendants but
obviously would like to go back again to find his parents.
The only Wigan IGI extraction that is a nearly comfortable fit in time, that
I can find, is this : [did not see anything on familyhistoryonline]

Father: NICHOLAS SUMNER Family
Mother: BETTY FEINDLEY
IGI Extraction Batch No.: C005566
and from the same batch are:no others with Nicholas as the father.
What I am uncomfortable about is that there is no use of Nicholas again at
all in my lines; Would anyone else go with this as a fit or not? I have
resisted so far and would happily resign myself to waiting some years to get
to Wigan, or for another researcher with access, in the family, to find me.
Some of my work done so far with lots of connections from freeBMD; IGI;
censuses to show the spread and arrangement of names.
