Any ideas what might have happened?
I know exactly what happened: some gormless clown wandered into
genealogy without being able to look up anything, without any memory
of recent publications on this newsgroup, without ever having read a
book or a newbie guide on genealogy and with the dopey belief that
being a wanking waste of space is the way to contribute to any
intellectual endeavour.
Do yourself a favour. Go and play tiddlywinks with the admission class
in a school for the learning disabled. If the kids are kind they might
let you win one game in 100, and their kindness will enable you to
live the illusion that you are not a 101% waste of space 25/8. In the
adult world of actual intellectual endeavour you simply don't exist at
all.
