No-- I just know the basics of websites. I am no expert by any means but I
do my homework.
I am remarking on the lack of legal information. And that they cannot call
themselves amateurs when they are taking money for researching on top of
charging for access to the website.

Your attitude here has done them a great deal of harm.

Well, that's really too bad, for it's a great idea ....but I get
the impression that no matter what I said, the site was
doomed to a bad reception here. And I suspect that where
it may have done me some harm, the group will be largely
unaffected. Do you suppose that my new membership of
this newsgroup will have caused it to be harmed.???

I am no stranger to newsgroups. There are always
one or two people who act as though they have the
right to frisk you at the door, and make false allegations.
This one is no different.

That is a right that they do not have. As far as I
am concerned they will always be challenged.
Free speech also implies the right of response.

But I will reiterate once more for the record.
It is not my website. It is not my group.
I have no interest in the finances of the group
beyond my contribution. I am not
engaged in any 'scam'.
