I do know he married Jane in 1829 in IOM.
Unfortunately, no GEDDES families are in the IOM 1841 census.
There is a Jane GEDDES in the Liverpool 1861 census, born in Douglas IOM, as a Boarder aged 60yrs, Widow of army officer. The age is about 6 years out but seems the only choice.
One of their daughters, Alice Maria, age 17yrs, is a boarder in Liverpool in 1851, her maternal grandmother is a boarder in the same house.
I could not find Jane in 1851, in IOM or England.
I have not found Alexander with family members anywhere!
