Apropos of which, I wonder if there exists anywhere a day-by-day listing of
the weather for the last few centuries? We all have people being born,
baptized, married and buried on specific dates, without knowing what those
days were like, at least weather-wise.
It was the Sulphur Dioxide that was the killer over the following
months, detailed records are available mainly because of the details
records that Gilbert White kept for twenty five years (I think these are
available through the Gutenberg Project).
