To say I am utterly gobsmacked would be an understatement!
I have a very good friend who no longer uses this group arfter receiving a
similar email from the man who would be known as *Dr Moody*.
Both she and I were under the impression his email of several months ago, in
which he personally attacked her and suggested she had nothing between her
ears and indeed had no right to draw the next breath, was a useless piece of
humanity and so forth, was a one off ocassion. It caused her enormous
distress, hence her silent departure.
I had no idea he made a regular habit of venting his spleen and attacking
people in this way!!!
Perhaps he would be better venting at those who really disrupt this group -
and we all know who they are - rather than people who may have thought a
simple question to the members here would help in their researches.
Surely genealogy is about the whole story, including the foods they ate,
clothes they wore, et cetera - not just a vast collection of names and
dates?
I am utterly disgusted by his behaviour and wonder if he would speak to
people in this manner in a face to face situation, or is he one of those
cowards who hides behind a pc monitor, imagining he is above reproach?
