And the only way to get that information confirmed, having used the
method Dave has given you, is to either buy the certificate or to have
a look at the parish registers. Bear in mind that not all the parish
registers are online.
Whichever way, I'm afraid you're going to have to put your hand in
your pocket. Like all hobbies, this one involves some expense.
