U.S [Superpower] Military, Technical Superiority Is Not All Powerful: Rodong Sinmun

The death toll of U.S. [Superpower] troops in Afghanistan is on the steady increase due to the ceaseless attacks by Taliban [troops of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan].

This indicates that the U.S. [Superpower] imperialists' military and technical superiority in "the [fake] anti-terror war" is *not* always workable

A decisive factor of the victory in the war is not weaponry but ideology and consciousness of fighters

It is human beings who cognize the law of war and actively apply it and it is also them who make and use weapons.

Such role of human beings may increase or get weak depending on their ideology and consciousness [an allusion to the Real Soviet Union (1917-1956) and the Fake Soviet Union (1956-1991)].

Therefore, a victory or defeat in a war is *not* decided [only] by weaponry but [also] by human ideology and consciousness.

One may say the U.S. imperialists' [fake] "anti-terror war" is a modern weaponry-oriented war. In other word, they are set to conclude the war by advantages of high-tech arms.

However, they are sustaining bitter defeats due to these crucial weak points [of theirs: human ideology and consciousness].

The U.S. imperialists' military and technical superiority is not workable as the anti-imperialist independent countries are rapidly growing in capability for self-defence and military technology.

Many developing nations are directing great efforts to bolstering their power for self-defence.

Military superiority is no longer a monopoly of the U.S. [Superpower] imperialists.

Gone are the days when they could threaten the DPRK with A-bombs [an allusion to the later H-bombs and to far more powerful bombs now].

The U.S. [Superpower] imperialist aggressors would be well advised to properly know this and behave themselves.

Gunmen have killed 11 people and wounded at least eight others in an attack on a drug rehabilitation centre in the north of Mexico.

Sunday's attack in Torreon comes almost exactly a year after 13 people were killed at a rehabilitation centre in the same city.

"The armed attackers came on two pick-up trucks, entered the centre and opened fire"

[Superpower] High court protects Secret Service agents

The 8-0 decision comes in a case that began with the arrest of Steven Howards following a chance encounter with Cheney at a shopping center in Colorado in 2006. Howards claimed he was arrested because he expressed his anti-war views.

The agents and the Obama administration asked the [Superpower] court for broad protection against claims of retaliatory arrests. The [Superpower] justices did not grant that wish.

But Justice Clarence Thomas said in his opinion for the court that the agents could not be sued in this instance because of uncertainty about the state of the law concerning such arrests.

The diplomats, accompanied by three Pakistani nationals, were stopped at a routine checkpoint where they refused to have their vehicles searched

When police checked anyway, they said they found several rifles, pistols and ammunition.

The Pakistanis were charged with illegal possession of weapons

A U.S. embassy official said: "These officials were returning from a visit to Malakand University where they were preparing for an English education event for underprivileged children."

Pakistan condemns U.S. [Superpower terrorist] drone strikes

Three [Superpower terrorist] drone strikes in as many days on suspected militants [ordinary Pakistani citizens] have killed 27 people, Pakistani intelligence officials say.

The foreign ministry called the attacks "illegal" and said they violated the South Asian country's sovereignty.

Pakistan's parliament called for an end to U.S. [Superpower terrorist] drone strikes, and the [Islamic Republic of Pakistan] foreign minister told Reuters in an interview in April that the United States [The Superpower] was ignoring Islamabad's [the Islamic Republic of Pakistan's] demands for an end to the operations.

Helicopter downed in Helmand battle; 30 US-NATO invaders killed

The fighting broke out after the a large number [of Superpower/NATO] invaders dropped off by helicopters pressed ahead with an offensive in Baghran district of Helmand province at about 2:00 a.m. local time and [the figting] continued all through Monday in which several dozen of the invaders have been killed or wounded so far.

According to a new report, Mujahideen shot down a helicopter amid fighting today killing [altogether] more than 30 invaders in Baghran district of this province.

The wreckage of the struck helicopter along with the corpses and the wounded are still lying at the scene.
