Ace pilot accuses Obama

I suppose McCain is hinting that Obama did not get his airplane
crashing ace status like Bush and McCain. Instead of abandoning his
aircrew to die(he had no aircrew) and save himself, McCain simply got
captured and made POW status.
Junior tried to get shot down, but didn't realize being AWOL doesn't
qualify as being shot down.
Actually, Junior was afraid to get shot down, which is why he got
daddy to get him the cozy Air National Guard position so as to get his
wings risk free with VietNam in full bloom. One gets shot down right
away, and the other Bush is too afraid to send his son to war, but
gives him a cozy slot for "military duty" status. Hence, we question
whether Junior's stint really actually qualifies as weaing a
uniform. That is just losing your wings, but Ace Bush did managa to
achieve "Mission Accomplished" on his last pilot duty as he learned
how to land on an aircraft carrier with his brown nosed instructor..
Perhaps we do not want bad pilots as President any more.
We must choose to elect aces who do not get easily shot down and
actually can accomplish the mission.
Abraham Lincoln, the other Illinois senator never wore a uniform
either.
FDR did not wear a uniform although he did have a civilian position
associated with the Navy on account of his relation to Teddy.
I do not think Thomas Jefferson wore a uniform, but he did help write
the law of the land and also write the Declaration of Independence.
It is the fact that McCain is also the son of a multiple starred
Admiral as well as being a POW which gives him this opportunity, not
just the bad luck of being a POW.
But POW hardly exhibits the necessary qualifications of President
although we do admit the US owes him gratitude for suffering, but not
that much so as to be granted the Presidency.
We need to see some actual merit, not some vague claim to being a war
hero.
A war hero just means you were another Vietnam victim, but McCain
doesn't seem to mind repeating another Vietnam style mistake.
