Guess what. I sent him a private email with a clean personal address, and
now this address is on free access on usenet and every Internet search
engines, that means every spamming bots have it.

hmm..It's not as if you've made efforts to remain an unknown on the
internet, now is it?

Of course, you can decide on your own that when you receive a private email,
it's nothing to post the content of the message on a newsgroup, with the
email address used for the sending. The email I use for usenet is dedicated
to here, and contain a string char to put out to make it works. It blocks
the robots and engines to collect it for spamming. The address the other
prick post here was a professional address, and he didn't protect it, just
post like that, so now spamming robots have it and I receive casino and
pharmacy spams.


My posting address has been on numerous occasions hit with volumes of
spam, concurrent with insults thrown my way on the board here. I'd not
trouble one second wondering about 'where to put the blame'

One more time, this is YOUR business. Your choices are yours, and you can't
adapt them to others. You can choose to write your personal email on a
newsgroup without protecting it, but it is your personal choice. I'm
surprise you don't understand others can be reluctant about it. Anyway what
was done was a real pain and this email address will now receive spams for
life. This person would be on Europe, his provider would have consider the
complain, and maybe tried to supress the post before engines register it.

I'm very surprise to find such ignorance on an ointernational newsgroup:
it's not anymore about good or bad practices, it's about damages generated
by stupidity. It's the basics, and if you don't understand that, you are
everything but an experimented usenet user or a good willing people. On any
case it puts you in situation to give lesson on anything about newsgroup
usages. Ignorance is not compatible with teaching.
